Cryptolepis este utilizat în tratamentul coinfecției Babesia. Are, printre altele, proprietăți antibacteriene împotriva Staphylococcus auraureus, Streptococcus pyogenes și Escherichia coli. Rădăcina Cryptolepis are, de asemenea, proprietăți antifungice, antiinflamatoare, antipiretice și antitrombotice.

I prefer this mixed with green tea and sida acuta leaves. Bought a kettle/teapot to keep it warm so its always ready to drink. I break up this because its a hard twig, bark type of plant, but it makes good tea.

Very pleased...lovely dry, fresh herbs. They grind up well in a coffee mill. Packaging is airtight and resealable. Lots of herbs for the price! Im making decoctions of this and knotweed, and the taste is very earthy and a bitter taste, so i add lemon, and drink as tea. Thankful to obtain this rare root herb from lyme herbs!
